The Great American Food & Music Fest @ Mountain View

今天在報上看到這活動, 回到家仔細上網瞧了瞧, 內容還不差, 雖然對五百瓦光環最閃亮的電視名廚Bobby Flay興趣不大, 不過, 受邀在現場Demo或簽書的廚林高手有五成還不賴, 比如美國果醬女王June Taylor, 舊金山新銳巧克力品牌Charles Chocolates的老闆Chuck Siegel, Boulevard的Nancy Oaks, 今年舊金山最炙手的A16年輕主廚Nate Appleman, 另外現場擺攤直營美食的商家也小有可觀, 比如紐約以Pastrami樹立口碑, 連酸黃瓜都值得大書的老店Katz’s Delicatessen, 紐約水牛城的Anchor Bar的辣雞翅, 來自辛辛那堤, 據說是歐普拉最愛冰淇淋之一的Graeter’s, 紐約布魯克林地標級的起司蛋糕Junior’s Cheesecake, Napa Valley名廚Thomas Keller的Bouchon(不過好像只賣招牌糕點Chocolate Bouchons), 連年讀者票選灣區最美味漢堡的Burgermeister等, 一如活動名稱, 邀集的多是以美國國民美食打出名號商家寶號, 現場還有樂團表演, 票價從21到526大洋, 待遇等級分明, 不過, 到底有誰人會掏出526來參加這活動哩? 要我免談。

    Hi, Min,

    Have you taste June Taylor’s jam? and how about the jam making class? I really want to go, but the price is quite expensive!! I am not sure if it’s worth it……..

    Hey Jessica,

    I LOVE June Taylor’s Jam because I love it’s natural sweetness from the fruit not adding a lot of sugar. And it smell so good too. I also like her jam making classes and I think it’s worth the money to at least take once. Make sure you take the one is what you like to make because I took two classes, Peach and Three Fruit Marmalades, but had only made the Peach after the class (the other one is too complex).

    wow, it’s $175 per class now??

    清新美味,
    至於課程,
    一七五太貴了.
    純粹個人意見囉!
    若百元出頭還可以考慮.
    因為說實在,
    做果醬並不難.
    就是幾個要領,
